2013 Missions Convention

October 19-27

Beyond: The last command Jesus left His disciples is found in Matthew 28:19, “Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,”
This command is still active today for anyone who follows Jesus Christ. It is up to us to spread the amazing good news of the hope that we have! One of the great ways we do this is by supporting missionaries that God has called to the uttermost parts. Our missions convention is the perfect opportunity to connect ourselves to the Great Commission. Plan to be a part of the events that are taking place during this time.

Meet the Missionaries!

Nicholas and Jessica Lusk: The Lusk family is pursuing a dream of starting an International Discipleship school in Northern Italy. They are currently missionary residents at Stone Creek Church with Pastor Gary Grogan in Champaign, IL.  Nicholas’ responsibilities include overseeing 50+ small groups and the internship programs.  They are also available to assist with pastoral care throughout the week.
